For NHS Patients
During this free no-obligation NHS Dental Charges are set by Scottish Government.
These fees offer a guide to our pricing structure however you will always be given a detailed written treatment plan, including all fees, BEFORE we carry out any treatment
Please note that NHS fee structure is complex and varies considerably from patient to patient depending on the treatment required. Check ups are FREE for everyone.
Unless you are in one of the groups entitled to free NHS dental treatment or help with the cost you will require to pay for your NHS dental treatment up to a maximum of £384 per course of treatment.
You are entitled to free NHS dental treatment if you:
- Are under 26 years old
- Are pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months
- Get income support or certain other benefits
As a registered NHS patient, you can get all the care, advice and treatment you need to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. However, some treatments are not available on the NHS, for example:
- Any cosmetic treatment
- Tooth whitening
- Dental implants
- White filling or crowns on back teeth
